Domain Name and Hosting Registration

If the client needs to purchase a new domain name, it will be registered in the client’s name. The cost of the domain will vary based on the hosting provider. Generally a new domain name will cost between $15-20 for one year. Furthermore, based on the project, I will recommend a hosting package with a provider that offers reasonable prices and great service. It will typically cost $70-100 a year.

Custom Programming

Every project has unique requirements and different programming needs. Therefore, through my years of experience in web design, I have gained knowledge of following programming languages: HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript PHP, CGI, SQL, ASP, AS3, AS2. These programs can be utilized in a number of different ways thereby enriching your site.

Website Maintenance

Accuracy is important and I understand that your site and the information on it are important to you. Updates are usually completed within 2 to 24 hours (except holidays). I will always maintain a current local backup copy of your web site. "Maintenance" is defined as keeping the web site current. It is not intended to be a redesign or revamp. There is a one-half hour minimum charge for updates made during any given monthly billing cycle. If no updates or changes have been requested, there is no monthly fee for maintenance. Although every effort is made to provide accurate changes, it is the client's responsibility to review updates and notify me of any changes that need to be made. Updates should be provided by email as much as possible.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

The Initial SEO consultation involves identifying the target audience and setting goals for search engine submission and optimization. Keywords and phrases that will best sell your business must then be identified. Afterwards the text must be optimized to include those keyword rich phrases. Design suggestions will be offered to help gain higher rankings and the meta tags will be optimized. I will submit your website to search engines and to online directories. If you are interested I can also supply you with monthly progress reports and then re-optimize the site when needed.
